When your project demands something a standard system cannot deliver, a custom engineered building is designed from scratch to your exact specifications, load requirements, local codes, and architectural vision. Unlimited length, wide clear spans, tall eave heights, and the flexibility to integrate cranes, mezzanines, and future expansion from day one.
HyperSteel and Simplisteel cover most standard projects. A custom engineered building is the answer when your span, height, loads, or use case go beyond what a standard system handles: a wide-body warehouse, an aircraft hangar with clear-span doors, a riding arena, a crane-served industrial facility, or a building that has to match a specific architectural design. Every member is engineered to your site so nothing is over-built or under-spec'd.
Warehouses and distribution centers, manufacturing and industrial facilities, aircraft hangars, sports and recreation buildings, commercial and retail flex spaces, and specialty structures. If you can specify it and it can be engineered to code, it can be built. Every custom building ships as a complete, pre-drilled, bolt-together kit with stamped drawings for your permit.
A Pre-Engineered (PEMB) structure uses welded primary frames and cold-rolled secondary members, delivered as a complete bolt-together kit. PEMB systems carry longer lead times and typically do not include footing and foundation engineering.
